Hoe gebruik je zwarte zeep en de kessa handschoen op de juiste manier?

How do you use black soap and the Kessa glove correctly?

Black soap and the Kessa glove are powerful skincare products, but only when used correctly. Many people scrub too hard or too often, which can actually irritate their skin. In this blog post, we explain how to use black soap and the Kessa glove safely and effectively, keeping your skin clean, smooth, and balanced.

Why black soap and kessa are used together

Black soap is meant to prepare the skin, not to exfoliate. It softens the skin and helps loosen dead skin cells.
The Kessa glove then removes these loosened skin cells in a mechanical, but controlled manner.

If you're just using the glove without black soap, you'll have to rub harder.
If you only use black soap without kessa, the exfoliation remains superficial.

The combination makes the difference.

Step 1: Always start with heat

Use black soap and the Kessa glove only on warm, wet skin:
• in the shower
• in the bath
• or after a few minutes of steaming

Heat opens the pores and softens the skin. This prevents damage during exfoliation.

Step 2: Apply black soap (without scrubbing)

Apply a thin layer of black soap with argan oil to wet skin.
Let the soap work for 1 to 2 minutes.

Important:
• Do not scrub
• Do not allow to dry
• Do not leave on longer than necessary

The black soap does the preparatory work here.

Step 3: Exfoliate with the Kessa glove

Rinse off the soap lightly so that the skin is wet but not slippery.
Now use the kessa glove with:
• long, gentle movements
• light to medium pressure
• towards the heart

You may see small flakes coming off — these are dead skin cells.
Applying more pressure is not necessary and may damage the skin.

Step 4: Rinse and let the skin recover

Rinse the skin thoroughly with warm water.
After exfoliation, the skin immediately feels smoother and cleaner.

Use this combination:
• 1x per week for the body
• sensitive areas possibly less often

Where should you not use black soap and kessa?

Do not use this combination on:
• the face
• the eye contour
• the intimate zone
• damaged or irritated skin

Milder cleaning products are more suitable for these areas.

After exfoliation: care is essential

After exfoliating, the skin is especially vulnerable to care. This is the ideal time to apply an oil to help restore and keep the skin supple.

Many people combine this routine with:
argan oil for daily nutrition
prickly pear seed oil for intensive care

The detailed effects and use per skin zone can be found on the product pages.

Products from this routine

Want to practice this routine at home? Then use:
Black soap with argan oil – for mild, deep cleansing
Kessa glove – for controlled exfoliation
Argan oil or prickly pear seed oil – for aftercare

These products are powerful on their own, but work best when combined properly.
